supporting and connecting women in the DMV since 2013
Belleconnecta began as a drop-in women’s group in 2013. It was facilitated by Alison Cardy, a DC area career coach with a love of personal development. After over a year of great conversations, Alison was considering strengthening the group into a more formal program. After hearing Alison’s thoughts, a drop-in group attendee expressed enthusiasm for the ramped up idea and gave Alison the push she needed to create a more structured format for the group.
Sometimes we all need a push or a word of encouragement to accomplish the next thing on the horizon, and that’s what Belleconnecta is all about- helping you to improve your life in a supportive environment. Two cohorts of amazing women participated in Belleconnecta’s group coaching program in 2015. Alison also held the inaugural Self Care Day in June 2015 to further support her growing community.
“My goal is always to provide a safe, welcoming space and productive tools to look at our lives and how to improve them. In Belleconnecta people make internal shifts and external shifts. I value both types of progress! The important part to me is helping people to grow and build their sense of community,” says Alison.
Our next Self Care Day will be in December 2017, and our next Belleconnecta cohort will launch in January 2018. Sign up below to receive an invitation to join in! You’ll also receive a community discount to an upcoming Self Care Day and a complimentary training on the 6 Belleconnecta Core Behaviors.
